COVID-19

Yosemite Physical Therapy is committed to caring for the health and well being of our employees, patients and our community.  With that in mind we have taken several actions in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  While we are currently maintaining our regular hours, our clinics are prepared to modify operations and hours of service, while still providing the care that our patients need.  In the meantime, we have take the follwing steps to ensure improved safety and awareness.  

• We will continue to sanitize our therapy equipment, tables, door handles and table tops after use
• We have added hand sanitizer and sanitizing wipes in strategic locations for both patients and staff
• We are asking all patients to wash / sanitize their hands when they arrive
• We are asking any patients, family or staff to remain at home if they feel ill
• If possible, we are asking patients to come to therapy alone, effectively reducing exposure opportunities for friends and family

We will continue to closely monitor the situation, and follow all national and local recommendations to protect you (our customers) and our employees. 

The CDC’s recommendations for minimizing the spread of any infectious disease:

• Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• If soap and running water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub that contains at least 60% alcohol.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
